What is viva variety?

Viva Variety was an American comedy television series that aired on the Comedy Central network from 1997 to 1998. The show was created by John Moffitt and Rusty Cundieff, and was a parody of variety shows from the 1970s and 1980s.

Viva Variety featured a mix of sketches, musical performances, and interviews with celebrity guests. The show was hosted by Thomas Lennon, Ben Garant, and Kerri Kenney-Silver, who played exaggerated versions of themselves. The cast also included a number of recurring characters, such as the Fagasaurus and the Hating Brothers.

The show received positive reviews from critics and developed a cult following, but was ultimately cancelled after two seasons due to low ratings. Viva Variety has since become a cult classic, known for its irreverent humor and satirical take on the variety show genre.
